When Ricky Martin gives a video tour of his lovely Los Angeles home, one unexpected theme is hard to miss: an unlikely face in nearly every room.
Ellen DeGeneres‘s likeness appears in two framed paintings in the corner of a living room. Stuffed doll versions of the talkshow host cover Martin’s bed. Instead of Grammys, sculptures of her in varying styles fill the family room’s bookcase. And most noticeably, a massive cover of Tugboats magazine featuring Degeneres in a low-cut swimsuit is the centerpiece of the bedroom.
In the video, Martin seems unfazed as he and husband Jwan Yosef casually chat about their love for the arts, which brought them together — Martin is a collector; Yosef is a painter — and the new house they share with their twin 9-year-old sons, Valentino and Matteo.
Of course, the watermark on the video might give away exactly how DeGeneres came to dominate the couple’s home decor (and explain why readers of Architectural Digest, where the house was just published, managed to miss all those odd homages in the magazine). It’s an original EllenTube creation spoofing her friend Martin’s real home tour from AD.

“So happy to be part of @Ricky_Martin’s home,” the decor-obsessed star captions the carefully doctored footage. The singer shared the video too, captioning it, “Laughed so hard.”
Martin and Yosef’s real art collection features works by up-and-coming artists and sadly, doesn’t seem to include any portraits, sculptures or unsettling dolls of their famous friends.
Martin stopped by Ellen earlier this month to give an update on his efforts helping Puerto Rico following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria (he’s raised $5 million so far) and promote his new show, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.
