Janney, who took home a statue for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for I, Tonya, and Macy, who won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for Shameless, talked to PEOPLE backstage on Sunday night and opened up about where they’d be stashing the massive statuettes.
“We have a place where we keep hardware in our house,” Macy, 67, notes of the home he shares with his wife of 20 years, Felicity Huffman.
The actor also revealed he actually created the special spot himself, thanks to some deft carpentry skills: “It’s a bookcase that I built. It’s lovely,” he says. Speaking of the award, he continued, “It’s a lovely feeling. I make fun of it but I’m really proud and really moved.” The actor received a SAG for the same role in the Showtime series in 2017 and 2015.

Huffman has also contributed her fair share to the couple’s handmade trophy case. She took home a Best Actress Golden Globe for the movie Transamerica in 2006, and an Emmy and three SAGs for Desperate Housewives in 2005 and 2006.
The couple shared a look inside their home in Los Angeles’s Hancock Park neighborhood in the April 2000 issue of Architectural Digest. Their 5,000-square-foot 6-bedroom Colorado getaway was listed for sale for $4.25 million in 2014 according to the Wall Street Journal.
Janney, 58, who starred opposite Margot Robbie in the Tonya Harding biopic, revealed she has no worries about the oversize award going on display in her home. “I will find room,” she told PEOPLE. “I have some lovely other SAG Award statues and the newest member of the family will fit right in.”
Janney has previously won for The Help in 2012, American Beauty in 2000, and The West Wing in 2001 and 2002.
